About the event

Our next Difficult Dialogue on 'Crisis in Europe?', in partnership with Europia and many others, will give you the opportunity to talk about the awful events happening currently in Europe as well as wider issues relating to our exit from the EU. The event is open to all and will be hybrid with both in-person and on-line access. In-person venue: To be confirmed. Zoom link will be sent after registration.

We will address key questions including:

• How is Brexit playing out for our diverse communities?

• What does the war in Ukraine mean for us in the UK?

• How do we want our leaders to act towards each other?

• What can we do locally to affect better relations across Europe?

The format for dialogues is a conversation and not a debate. People can share personal experiences and opinions. When we disagree we do so with respect. This is about listening and sharing.

All discourse should be undertaken in a spirit of understanding, hearing others – an antidote to ‘fake news’ and conflict-speak.
